Any really good quality YouTube channels about the history of rock music?
Main Post:
Hey guys, do you know of any really good YouTube channels that talk about the history of rock music? Or that has really good videos about influential bands? I stumbled across The Beat Goes On, and was wondering if there any other ones that are way better? Or is that one considered cream of the crop?
Thank you!

What are your favorite music videos that don't just show the band playing or hanging out/doing stuff?
Main Post:
I'm looking for inspiration for a music video a friend wants to put together. We obviously have a small budget, but really what we're interested in is doing something that is engaging and isn't just showing the band playing the song in a cool setting or whatnot. I really liked what Converge did with Eagles Become Vultures (not alternative but one good example of a kind of video that isn't just a performance by the band.) It shows a character who goes through events that push him over the edge, and he ends up--at least in his fantasies--duct taping his boss up and all that good shit. That one does show the band a lot, but I found it a good jumping off point for what I'm talking about.
Also, Tool's videos often used animations and things of that nature, in a very interesting way that stood out.
So, what videos does that conjure up for you? Any particularly creative videos you remember that don't feature or at least don't focus on the band and have interesting visual elements or stories being shown?
